Have mainstream Protestant churches become I'm-okay-you're-okay centers?

Recently, some mainstream Protestant organizations have absolved ity from the category of sin, ordained ual ministers and bishops, and defended prenatal infanticide, thus bringing themselves into harmony with the ethics of the people of this world. Do such churches challenge members to repent and believe the gospel, or have they become organizations for granting ecclesiastical approval to ungodly behavior?
