How do i know what size of brush to get for my eyes?

I'm wanting to get brushes for my eye make up instead of using the spongy things that come with the shadows that you buy. But i noticed the brushes come in different sizes. how do you know what size to get? i don't really want to mess up on size. i will choose best answer!
