Parakeet problem? Dark flaky discoloration on beak and a little cream colored crusty stuff next to beak.?

it can be either a mite infection, that can be treated with mite spray that you can buy cheaply at any pet store. or your bird is becoming a female. but it doesnt happen that quickly so i believe its a mite infection. you can either take them back or buy spray. and bird protector (keeps mites away and helps treat it)
