Dog food Question, for a German Shepherd puppy and a senior Apple-dome Chihuahua?

orijen, blue buffalo, and evo are high-quality foods. when my dog was a puppy i fed her iams and she gained a lot of weight and kept gaining, so i wouldn't recommend that. i just mix in a large bowl ground beef, sweet potatoes oats, peas, and eggs then i bake it like a meatloaf. then i cut it into 16 sections and wrap each section and refrigerate. her coat is super soft and shiny and she is a perfect weight on this homemade diet. if you do this don't forget a supplement too!
