VERY SERIOUS QUESTION.??? PLEASE HELP?
Hi, I came in to the States in 96 , I was convicted of a felony in 2000 ( 3 years after my PR interview and approval ), I served 5 years probation and 6 months house arrest without getting in trouble. I lost my card last year and filed for a replacement two months ago , I also went for my biometrics. and later on that day I went to the INS in NY and got my I-55 stamp(with no problem) on my pport because I had to travel. I'm now overseas was wondering if my application would be denied or if I will be detained and deported upon my arrival from a short vacation at the airport regardless of my I-55 stamp because of my conviction ?? please help me
