What is wrong with this?

Well, I am not sure how to answer this one. I don't have a lot of background knowledge about the Opry but in my mind, I always thought that being a "member" meant that you were someone that was recognized for contributing to clic country music. That is what the whole "Grand Ole Opry" name makes me think of. That somehow it was a right of page to be recognized by clic country artists that had made their mark and recognized new artists as continuing the same tradition. I always thought that playing there was supposed to be the big kahuna in country music recognition. a huge milestone for an artist.
