What pet should I get?It has to live in a cage.Birds,rodents ect. It can't live more than nine years maybe 10

I'm looking for a companion that needs two hours out of the cage a day max. I can't have it live more than ten years because I don't know what will happen in my life in ten years, and I don't think I could just abandon an animal. I don't want to be one of those people who buys a macaw that will live for 75 years and end up needing to get rid of it! No offence to any macaw owners! I need lifespans from experience please! Only because I look on websites and in books all the time for pet possibilities and they all give me different information! Thanks! :) No reptiles please!
