First of all my fathers own home town is also just near Conway, Arkansas. As to how Arkansas is pronounced I don't know why you're hearing a "L" on the end. The "S" in Arkansas is actually silent. It really sounds more like 'Arkansa'. As to why it's pronounced that way I have no idea, it just is. In the American language many words sound differently then they are spelled. I've always heard that the American language is the most difficult to learn because we have so many ways to use our alphabet and so many letters are silent in words. I hope this helps you to understand a little better.

Question about bonded retainer?

i just got my braces off yesterday, and i got a lower bonded retainer. i'm not sure how, most likely it is glued on poorly, but some of the glue is coming off, causing it to move a little bit. i go back in a week to get my top retainer. should i wai until friday, or do i need to go back? i wouldnt think my teeth would move, since i dont even have a top retainer yet.

I can't stop trembling?

I am hypoglycemic and I do tremble and shake when my blood sugar dips too low. I am really good about keeping it in check with my diet. But I have not been able to shake (no pun intended) these nasty tremors since I got up this morning. I figured maybe I didn't eat enough for breakfast or for my mid morning protein boost so I had big lunch about 45 mins ago and yet I'm shaking like crazy. The only thing that keeps my WHOLE BODY from trembling is wiggling my legs while at my desk as if I have restless leg syndrome. I'm having the worst time trying to get my contacts in. Any thoughts on what I could do? P.S. I did have a one of those coffee energy drinks made by Starbucks this morning....but I indulge in those about once a week and have never had this challenge before.

Normally not. The data is sent back by radio. The only exceptions are the Apollo Moon missions and a few "sample return" missions to the Moon, comets, and asteroids. Getting a spacecraft somewhere is hard enough; getting it back is much harder.

Acne cleansers...gets worse before it gets better?

I'm trying out this new cleanser from RoC. I have moderate acne... for the first few days, I got about 2-3 pimples that cleared up a few days later. I've been using this products for about 2 week and my acne has gotten maybe 30% better. Today marks the 2 weeks and I was washing my face and I had about 3 small bumps on the side of my face. They're not red...they're just bumps. Are those considered breakouts? Should I give up on this products or wait for 2 more weeks...is this a good sign - the breakouts, I mean. Thanks :)

My First Book Report? Help please!?

okay well im in 5th grade, please dont report me, and im doing my first book report, EVER! It has to be about a animal, like explaining the habitat, what it eats and its life and all, and i was wondering , what animal should i do, that is unique or odd,that no one else would do, and that i can find a lot of info on the computer about and in libraries, like a well known animal. Should I have both my puppies spayed/neutered at the same time? I worry that the smaller one will be ok?

Get it over with at the same time, the males need very little attention after the procedure and the female will be very sore for the 1st day by the 3rd she will be back to normal. It is easier to play nurse to them both at the same time and if the male is less hyper then the female will be less likely to pop her stitches. The female will always take a little longer to recover probably ...just keep and eye on her but you should have no problems, the vet will advise on keeping stitches clean ect... good luck!

Am I malnourished or underinformed?

I'm 5' 1'' or 2'' or somewhere in between & I think I'm about 110 lbs. But I read somewhere that "Malnutrition is also known to cause hair to become lighter, thinner, and more brittle. Dark hair may turn reddish or blondish due to the decreased production of melanin." This describes my hair color, although my hair occasionally falls out. hi i decided to make my own computer admin account for my use. My family already uses one. When i made my own for some reason some of the files from computer admin 1 transfered to my new computer admin. This caused the account of go messed up. I have avast and zonealarm and went i log into my new account then zonealarm client doesnt work properly. Is this a problem that can be fixed?? On my family computer admin everything works perfectly. How to open a film canister?

You can pry the top off but it will bend it and you won't be able to put it back on. Instead, take the roll into a camera store or a photo lab. They will be able to get the film leader back out with a tool. Then you can pull the film out all the way. Cut it off leaving an inch or two to tape the your good film leader to.

If anyone saw my question yesterday about my son's crazy tantrums, this doesn't relate to that directly as then I was talking about how he is in general, at the moment I'm just talking about today and yesterday which is slightly different as he has both an ear infection and his molars coming through. Yesterday he screamed from the moment he woke to the moment he went to bed with the occasional 10 minute interlude and one blissful nap, and not just that but self harming awfully, his forehead is covered in little bruises and scratches from heading constantly. Today he's exactly the same, this is his first interlude of peace now and it's 3.40pm. Up until 10 minutes ago he has screamed non stop since 8am. I've had to leave the room a few times to stop myself from hitting him when he attacks me, my blood is just boiling, I know he is in pain but I am struggling to cope with this. I went to the doctors the day before yesterday (he had been quite bad for screaming then but nothing like today and yesterday) and the doc prescribed him some antibiotics for his ears and said it was the quiet limp ones he worries about, not the screaming ones. So can't go back to the doctors. I just don't know what to do. I know two days sounds like nothing but it has been literally constant. I need to go out and get stuff done but I tried taking him out yesterday and had to bring him back very quickly. I've given him calpol and teething gel but nothing is working. Stuff to chew on but again not working. It's breaking my heart that he's in so much pain. Can I do anything? I constantly have the phone out to call someone but there is just noone to call. I'm meant to be spending my first ever night apart from him on Tuesday and going to London to watch Paul McCartney, my lifelong idol, he would be staying with my grandparents but at this rate I'm going to have to cancel. it can be either a mite infection, that can be treated with mite spray that you can buy cheaply at any pet store. or your bird is becoming a female. but it doesnt happen that quickly so i believe its a mite infection. you can either take them back or buy spray. and bird protector (keeps mites away and helps treat it)

Betta foods?

The food that you buy should be specifically formulated for bettas. Tropical flakes will not give them the proper nutrition. These come in both flakes and pellets. Unlike what other people have said, most bettas DO like flakes. Mine actually prefer the flakes. Wardley's is a great brand and can be found at most pet stores. The brake light problem is probably a bad brake light switch, look at your brake pedal and then follow the metal piece on top of it up until you see where the switch contacts it. The door panels are held on with plastic push pins, you can get them at most parts stores. With the panels secure the door handles should stay in place also. Does anyone know if the contestants on The Biggest Loser had to "work up" to doing that kind of exercise?

I mean these exercise sessions they show look grueling for anyone but especially for some of these folks with a lot of weight to lose. Should I buy the Dell XPS 1330 ?

The Dell XPS M1330 is a pretty good laptop. All the specs are good except for your video card. It only has 128 MB of memory, you would need a better one for gaming. But, it will be able to handle everything else. As for the Asus G1, you would need to give more details about it. My recommendation is that you get the larger XPS M1530 instead since it has the 256 MB video card which is a little better for gaming, it will cost about the same as the XPS M1330. For internet security, you should avoid Norton and get either Kaspersky or McAfee since they have better features and are easier to use.

We had a few units in this housing area that I maintained.I thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread.We had very little trouble with them.They consist of a heating element heating water that is circulated through a coil in the house,and cools the water for refrigeration.The only problem I had was the electric igniter on the unit,but that was minor.I thought they were great,but I haven't seen any since then.I believe these were Amana units.Just remember they aren't total fail proof.You still need electricity to run the circulating pump and compressor.The gas part is pretty well non interrupting.

I don't know much about the lg shine but I have the pantech duo. its alright, it has a really long battery, ive gone a week and a half w/o charging it. the camera is ok but you have to hold it really still or it will turn out blurry. it breaks really easily though, ive had it almost a year and broke like 4. so its alright. I like it for about the first 7 months, now i can't wait for my contract to be up

Why not take the shuttle bus? It's about 30 minutes by shuttle bus on dirt road, with quite a number of switchbacks and steep grades. Probably take 4 hours to hike it. Don't go cheap, take the shuttle.

Hi, I came in to the States in 96 , I was convicted of a felony in 2000 ( 3 years after my PR interview and approval ), I served 5 years probation and 6 months house arrest without getting in trouble. I lost my card last year and filed for a replacement two months ago , I also went for my biometrics. and later on that day I went to the INS in NY and got my I-55 stamp(with no problem) on my pport because I had to travel. Well, I am not sure how to answer this one. I don't have a lot of background knowledge about the Opry but in my mind, I always thought that being a "member" meant that you were someone that was recognized for contributing to clic country music. That is what the whole "Grand Ole Opry" name makes me think of. My aging dog is becoming a little unstable?

My heins 57 mutt (Pitbull, Labrador, German Sheppard, Doberman, I'm not sure what else) is entering her later years, around age 8 or 9. She's always been a little skitish, sometimes (though rarely) snapping when annoyed and once bit a delivery boy who entered our house, but otherwise sweet and playful. She's also very in shape for her age. We think she's healthy and she has regular visits to the vet. However, she's been a little off the past few months. She is especially wary towards my friends, even when they have been over many times recently. She often looks guilty and yesterday when I was playing with her like I usually do she became suddenly violent, though she quickly seemed to realize her mistake and resigned to her bed. I'm a bit worried about her and how she'll be acting as she gets older. Does anyone have any idea why she's been acting this way? Any advice?

I filed my removal of conditions application (I-751) on time (90 days before Green Card expiration) and received the I-797 notice that extends my residency up to one year. I also received my Biometrics appointment notice later soon after that. However, I have had to move from the East Coast to California for a job and have filed an AR-11 form for change of address. This has forced me to reschedule my biometrics appointment. Because of these changes, as a worst case scenario, if my application is still pending by the time my I-797 expires, would I be able to get an extension so that I can continue to live and work here? orijen, blue buffalo, and evo are high-quality foods. when my dog was a puppy i fed her iams and she gained a lot of weight and kept gaining, so i wouldn't recommend that. i just mix in a large bowl ground beef, sweet potatoes oats, peas, and eggs then i bake it like a meatloaf. then i cut it into 16 sections and wrap each section and refrigerate. her coat is super soft and shiny and she is a perfect weight on this homemade diet. if you do this don't forget a supplement too!

i had the same problem. and in case you are wondering they will even out. just keep working and they will naturally become the same size. And yes uneven pecs do cause the weaker pec to have pain because the you are forcing it to lift more weight than it wants to.

Hey! I actually love the name Grace ALOT as a first or middle name. I am not crazy about the name Daphne, it just sounds a little old fashion/less trendy. I do like the name Quinn and I think Cecilia is cute, but not a big fan of Cece for a nick name. Again, it is all personal opinion, and don't take people's comments to heart lol. I found this recipe in the 2004 southern living book called sauteed shrimp with country ham and capers. Page 241. I was wondering if anyone has had it. Straight Edge Guide for Hitachi Router (woodworking)?

What I do is simply plunge the router into one end of the line you intend to cut, and make a fine pencil line on one edge of the base. Then plunge it into the other end of the line and turn off the router. With the router bit still in the hole, lay a simple straightedge from the router's base to the penciled mark and clamp it down on both ends. Then route away. The straightedge can be just about anything -a plywood scrap, hardwood, iron or aluminum extrusion, or a yardstick. Just eyeball it first, to make sure it's not warped or bowed, and it'll work as well as any high-priced factory-recommended accessory. Be sure the router's base stays in contact with your straightedge during the entire cut. Letting it wander away is a common beginner mistake. Depending on the wood and grain, it may pull from one side to the other.
